Evil Will be Judged

In today’s world we are amusing
Ourselves to death. Many are filling
Their days with entertainment, sin
Oriented entertainment.

It means losing sight of danger
And plunging into the abyss.
We refuse to think on our spiritual
Condition thus denying God.

The day is coming when you and I
And all will stand before the judgment
Seat of God. God is righteous, you are
A sinner weighed and found wanting.

The judgment of God will be written
Over you MENE, MENE TEKEL PHARSIN,
Your life and deeds are numbered showing
You have failed to achieve God’s standard.

Your sins will be poured out on God’s
Scales weighed and found wanting.
Peres means divided; dividing of the ways
Either to Life or to eternal punishment.

The day will come when God’s wrath will
Be poured out against sinners. Therefore
Be ready because the Son of Man
Will come in an hour not expected.
