Safe in
the Lion’s Den The safest place for
Daniel that
Night was in the lion’s den. He was
Safer there than in the lion’s cage
Of enemies and a steadfast law.
He prayed for God to help him,
And the mouths of hungry lions
Were closed, and Daniel was
Spared and slept well that night.
But the king could not sleep. It
Was a restless night for him.
Daniel, servant of the living God
Have you been rescued from the lions?
The answer, O king, live forever! My
God sent his angel, and he shut the
Mouths of the lions. God is God
And he rescued Daniel.
God calls some to win by living.
Others are called to win by dying.
But in life or death God rules and
We are called to serve him.
