The Antichrist and Armageddon

In Ezekiel 38, Gog is a name for
Antiochus Epiphanes the Antichrist.
Gog and Magog rally with the devil
Around the camp of the saints.

But fire came down from heaven
And devoured them. And the devil 
Was thrown into the lake of burning
Sulfur…tormented day and night

for ever and ever (Rev. 20:7-10).
Armageddon I believe is not a physical
Battle, but a spiritual battle between
Good and evil, God and Satan.

Authority, glory and sovereign power
Are given to the Son of Man.
His dominion is an everlasting
Dominion that will not pass away (Dan. 7:14).

When the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do? (Ps. 11:3).
And the preacher said, Why, go on
Being righteous, of course.

There will always be wars and rumors
Of wars, famine and trouble, persecution,
And distress, but we are to stand firm,
Resist evil, and serve God Almighty.
