The
King’s Famous Dream
God revealed to Daniel the
Forgotten dream of the king.
And gave interpretation.
The answer was awe inspiring.
He saw this awesome statue
Whose head was of gold, the chest
Of silver, middle portion bronze,
And feet of iron; a symbol of interest.
In time the feet were struck by a rock
Not cut out…by human hands, and
The statue crumbled and was swept
Away like chaff, and the rock stands.
The body of Christ, the rock, the
Church redeemed yet stands until
Our blessed Lord comes for His
Precious Bride: history fulfilled.
The I don’t need God attitude will
Be like the chaff which the wind
drives away without an anchor
Save in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I need thee, O I need thee;
Every hour I need thee!
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to thee.
