 PSALM 100

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.  (Psalm 100, KJV)

Psalm 100

The Psalm of Thanksgiving

This Psalm is all ablaze with grateful
Adoration, and will continue to be
While men exist whose hearts are loyal
To the Great King of earth and heaven.

It breaths gladness, and hope that all nations
Shall bow before Jehovah, and confess
That He is God. It brings heaven down to
Earth and raises earth to heaven.

The Psalm gives pure and sublime anticipation
In which saints and angels in general assembly
Shall celebrate forever the praises of God with
Gladness, joyfulness and humbleness.

Deep within we praise God for we know
Him as Creator; we are His creatures, and
For being our Redeemer. “It is he who made us:
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”

The character of God reveals His goodness,
Love and faithfulness. “ Taste and see that the
Lord is good; Blessed is the man who takes
Refuge in him. Enter his gates with thanksgiving.”
