 PSALM 117

O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.  (Psalm 117, KJV)

Psalm 117

A Little Psalm, Large in Spirit

It bursts beyond all bounds of race
Or nationality, calling on all mankind
To praise the name of the Lord. It is
Both short and sweet.

The Hebrew word  for “Nations” is
Translated “Gentiles,” meaning all
People may be saved through Jesus
Christ. Jew and Gentile can praise God.

Praise belongs to God for His love.
“For God so loved the world that he gave

his one and only Son, that whoever believes
in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Praise Belongs to God for His
Faithfulness, therefore His love
Endures forever. Can you say God
Is love indeed? Then “Praise the Lord.”
