 PSALM 128

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.  (Psalm 128, KJV)

Psalm 128

 Blessings of a Christian Home

Each of the Ascent Psalms goes one
Step higher than the last one. In psalm
127 there was the building of a house.
Here, God adornes it with bliss.

The Christian family will honor
God by reverencing Him, and by
Walking in His paths prepared
For a happy Christian home.

A Christian home is no utopia.
We have to work to make it so,
To read the Bible, and apply
Its truth along with prayer.

There must be reverence, and
Obedience toward God, and He
Will provides Christian parents, and
Obedient, prospering children.

The Church, like Zion, is a powerful
Influence for Christian living. God
Blesses families as they worship
Together in His House of prayer.

    “God, give us Christian homes,
      God, give us Christian homes!”
