The Angels Bring Good Tidings
Tree angels have exciting messages.
One speaks of eternal good tidings
Of God’s victory. Men are to fear
God and give Him glory.
The second angel announces the
Doom of imperial Rome. Babylon
Is used to represent evil and Rome
As if it had already fallen.
The third angel announces the
Destruction of those who have
Worshipped the emperor. These
Are marked for the wrath of God.
The undiluted wrath of God consist
Of torment with fire and burning
Sulphur. The smoke of their torment
Goes up forever, day and night.
There is more about hell in the
Bible than there is about heaven.
That is God’s warning to men
Who are on the wrong road.
