Sacrifice and Acceptance

They washed their robes and made
Them white. The metaphor accents
Man’s part in salvation, but he
Has to apply it, and how?

By turning from sin in Godly
Sorrow, and believing that Christ
Died for our sins according to
The Scripture.

One must believe that Jesus died
For our sins, and turning from sin,
Ask Him to save you. Everyone
Who calls on the Lord will be saved.

The sacrifice has been made, but it
Remains for a man to appropriate
That sacrifice to himself. Only then
Will you be saved and justified.
