The Praise of Angels
The martyrs have just sung their
Shouts of praise to God, and the
Angels take that song of praise and
Make it their own. So let it be.
Every syllable of praise answers
To the greatness of God. They praise
Him for blessings, goodness, and
Kindness in creation and redemption.
They ascribed glory to God which
Means giving gravity and seriousness
To his Person, and for his works, and
For being our Father and Lord of all.
He is praised for his fountain of
Wisdom. They gave Thanks for
Salvation and grace, and they gave
Honor to His majesty.
They recognized God for his power;
It’s use in loving men. They ascribe
Strength to God forever and ever.
Have you chosen that strength for life?
