New Song in the Andes

They are singing a new song in the Andes, saying "Worthy art You to take the book, and to break its seals; for You were slain, and did purchase for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation" (Revelation 5:9).

Tere is a new song in the Andes as Quichua believers in Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador continue to reach out and share Christ. In June 2011 Wil had the privilege of teaching evangelism workshops in Gatazo, Riobamba and Jippijapa.

These Evangelism Conferences range from large established churches to small home churches and youth groups.

These are some of the church leaders in the new Genesis mission in Riobamba, Ecuador. In Jippijapa the interest was so intense the participants did not want to stop, and they asked to continue for an hour longer. They want me to come back and teach every three months.

There is no great joy than sharing Christ one on one. It is a constant reminder of the new song Christ has put in your own heart. Christ changes lives. After each workshop we continue to get reports months later of people being saved as a result of students putting into practice these lessons.

Current Needs:

q     Pastor and Church Leadership Training Ministry in Ecuador.  Each trip costs approximately $3,000 and covers airplane tickets, room and board, rent for truck, gas, local workers, textbooks and food for students.

q     Pray for Alberto Copa and Mariano Yuquilema as they coordinate our work in Ecuador.   

q     Pray for evangelism saturation teams to come and do door-to-door evangelism and rallies at night.

q     Pray for scholarships for seminary students in Riobamba, Ecuador.

q     Pray for Evangelism Workshops with Nicaragua Baptist pastors.

q     We are presenting one-day, three-day weekend, and one week Evangelism Workshops in churches in Latin America.  These are proven practical and effective personal evangelism workshops for pastors and church leaders. The vision for training rural pastors began with a course on personal evangelism while serving as a missionary in Honduras.
