until we attempt the impossible" - R. G. Lee
"We must
do something! Lengthen the cords! Strengthen the stakes!
Expect great things from God! Attempt great things for God!

New Preaching Points in Nicaragua
Evangelism Conference participants sharing Christ in a home in San Juan de Rio
Coca, Nicaragua.
". . . The Lord was adding to their number day by day those who
were being saved" (Acts 2:47).
Participants in the Wiwili, Nicaragua Evangelism Conference
at Wiwili, Nicaragua
Believers
came as far away as Mesquite -- two days travel
walking, a boat trip and a bus. Two pastors have donated property to
start missions, and are also working with twelve Baptist
churches in the area
Students in the Evangelism Workshop
are seen watching a demonstration on personal witnessing by Ken
Johnson, a pastor from Arkansas. Three
workshops were presented in Wiwili, San Juan and San Raphael,
Nicaragua.
First Baptist Church in Ocotal, Nicaragua started a new work in San
Juan de Rio Coca. The new mission has three new preaching points
with a building is being built for one for these new missions. They
have
a vision to begin work in 36 different communities out from San Juan.
Leaders from several different evangelical churches and pastors
joined the members of the new Baptist mission for the Evangelism Conference in San Juan. One pastor walked two hours each day
to attend the conference. We held evangelistic services each night
in the home where the San Juan Baptist Mission holds its meetings.
Pastor Eddie Ruiz, pastor of San Juan Baptist Mission, asked
Wil to do his live daily hour radio program for six days.
Wil presented 6 live one hour long programs on
Evangelism Workshop, and was asked to provide five minute daily
radio programs in the future. On March 1, 2011, Wil started the daily
feature for Radio Genesis in San Juan de Rio Coca. These are
uploaded to the internet on one of our Spanish websites
AmaCristo
and later downloaded by the radio station for broadcast at 6 am, 1
pm and 6 pm daily. The program is also being broadcast daily over
Radio Pincipe de Paz in Danli, Honduras. We praise the Lord for these new open doors to
preach the gospel.

Christ in Wiwili, Nicargua.
San Raphael del Norte, Nicaragua is a new mission work for
Nicaraguan Baptistists. There are no organized Baptist churches
there, however they do have several preaching points. Leaders from
six new locations participated in the evangelism conference. They
were excited and enthusiastic about sharing Christ with their
family, neighbors and friends.
The construction of the new Baptist mission in
the Sandino barrio of Ocotal, Nicaragua was completed in November
2010. This is a recent foto of the new building. The blocks in front
of the building will be used to construct a building for Sunday
School. This was an Abide in Christ funded project, and follow-up on
Evangelism in Depth door-to-door visitation by university students
from Woodland Heights Baptist church in Conway, Arkansas in
July of 2010.

what
you can do
Partnership
missions gives you an opportunity to become personally involved in what God is
doing in world missions.
Pray daily for the work in Honduras.
q Pastor and Church Leadership
Training Ministry in Honduras.
q
Pray for three evangelism
saturation teams to do door-to-door evangelism and rallies at night.
q
We have prepared one-day Evangelism Workshops for churches in Latin America. These are patterned after the personal evangelism course we teach
pastors and church leaders, but are shorter. This course has proven to be very
practical and effective in personal evangelism. It was first used in Ecuador and Honduras. The vision for training rural pastors began with this course in mind while
serving as a missionary in Honduras.
q
Juan Alberto Herrera Ministry

pastor. Juan pastors a Honduran Baptist Convention church in Danli. He is
our Director for Pastor and Church Leadership Training in Honduras.
