"I have placed you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the end of the earth" (Acts 13:47).

Ecuadorian Quichuas have a passion to share Christ and start new churches in areas where there is no witness.

The emphasis of Abide in Christ is teaching evangelism and discipleship in local churches in unevangelized areas of the world.

Wil recently taught three day evangelism workshops in two new Quichua churches. In Babahoyo, Ecuador, two years ago a Quechua speaking Sunday School class in the first Spanish speaking church in the city decided it was time of them to step out by faith and start their own church.

One of the characteristics of the Chimborazo Quechua speaking churches is that wherever they go in their commercial activities if there is not an evangelical Bible believing church they soon start one. This is true in the cities of Babahoyo and Juan Montalvo.

Wil gave a special presentation on Christian Ethics to the Saturday students at Peniel Theological Seminary in Riobamba, Ecuador, and then spent the next week teaching the course to students at the Pallatanga extension.

I have the privilege of serving as a professor at Peniel Theological Seminary, Riobamba, Ecuador. I taught the course on the doctrine of salvation in January at the seminary extension in Pallatanga. In May I taught the course on Christian Ethics. It was a tremendous blessing being back with the same students. Their passion to serve Christ and enthusiasm for learning is contagious.

The three year old Genesis Bilingual Evangelical Church in Riobamba, Ecuador, continues to grow in its evangelism and discipleship ministries.  Abide in Christ has been involved in this ministry since its beginning. Wil teaches Bible doctrinal studies in this church on each trip to Ecuador.

what you can do

Partnership missions give you an opportunity to become personally involved in what God is doing in world missions.

Pray daily for the work in Honduras.

Give financially.  We are a faith mission and are dependent upon your financial gifts. Please pray about becoming involved in the support of our mission. "As long as the Lord provides I will give  $25  $50  $100 or $___ a month."

Current Needs:

q     Pastor and Church Leadership Training Ministry in Ecuador.  Each trip costs approximately $3,000 and covers airplane tickets, room and board, rent for truck, gas, local workers, textbooks and food for students.

q     Pray for evangelism saturation teams to do door-to-door evangelism and rallies at night.

q     Pray for scholarships for Peniel Seminary students in Riobamba, Ecuador.

q     Pray for Evangelism Workshops with Nicaragua Baptist pastors.

q     Pray for wisdom to know where the Lord is leading to conduct evangelism workshops, and where to focus teaching ministry. We have been asked to return every three months and teach Ecuador pastors.

q     We are presenting one-day, three-day weekend, and one week Evangelism Workshops for pastors and church leaders in churches in Latin America.
